Unlock is the first international publishing fair dedicated to graffiti and street art. Its four-day programme includes readings, lectures, book launches, and the participation of more than 50 publishers from Europe and America.

The production of books and magazines on graffiti and street art is higher than ever, both in quantity and quality. Unlock gives the public access to a valuable selection of international publishing projects, many of them little known.

The fair also aims to offer a converging point for this growing global publishing movement by providing a space for encounter and exchange for publishers, artists and audience.

Unlock is directed by Javier Abarca and is part of Open Walls Conference, an urban art festival with many other interesting activities.

At Unlock we understand graffiti and street art as ways to use the city as a playground. The range of interests covered at the fair includes neighbouring fields such as urban exploration, trainhopping and other alternative visions of space.
