Punk Graffiti Archives: The Netherlands, covers the country’s punk-originated graffiti scene that thrived from 1977 to 1983. The book was published as a companion to last year’s Unlock Book Fair, which took place in Amsterdam in December 8–9 under the topic “punk and graffiti”. It features plenty of rare documentation, including newspaper articles, zine pages, comics and ephemera, all of it translated into English.

This Friday 13th we travel back to Amsterdam to celebrate the launch of the second, expanded edition of the book. Join us for an evening of punk graffiti! The event will include the screening of two extremely obscure video-documents of Amsterdam’s punk graffiti years, and a poetry reading by Diana Ozon, a friend of Unlock and the main contributor to the book.
