Punk Graffiti Archives: Madrid covers the country’s punk-originated graffiti scene that thrived in the second half of the eighties. The book was published as a companion to last year’s Unlock Book Fair, which took place in Amsterdam in December 8–9 under the topic “punk and graffiti”. It features plenty of rare documentation, including vintage images and newspaper articles translated into English.
This coming Friday 25th we will be in Madrid celebrating the launch of the second, expanded edition of the book. The event will also include the launch of the book’s sister volume Punk Graffiti Archives: The Netherlands. Two extremely obscure video-documents of Amsterdam’s punk graffiti years will be screened.
