A book fair for graffiti and street art

The Unlock Book Fair is the first international event for graffiti and street art books and zines. A four-day celebration featuring lectures, readings, book launches and more than 50 publishers.

The production of graffiti and street art books is stronger than ever around the world, both in quantity and quality. The Unlock Book Fair aims to provide a converging space for the publishers, artists and readers in this thriving publishing scene.

Come to the Unlock Book Fair and discover a selection of international graffiti and street art publishing projects, many of them little-known.

➔ Carrer Ferran Turné 1–11

The venue

The Unlock Book Fair takes place at Nau Bòstik, an iconic industrial complex with ample indoor and outdoor spaces located in the La Sagrera area of Barcelona.

Visitors to Unlock can also enjoy the workshops, live mural paintings, screenings and DJ sessions from the program of the Open Walls Conference, at the same venue. With food stalls and a bar.

Open Walls Conference

This first Unlock Book Fair is part of the program of the urban art festival Open Walls Conference.

Since its first event in 2011, Open Walls Conference has stood out with its ambitious programme of lectures and roundtables on graffiti and street art at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB) featuring influential international artists, thinkers and art professionals.
